What is a Green Event or Meeting? A green event or meeting is a function that is developed and managed in an effort to reduce the negative impact on the local and global environment.
At Mair Affair we specialize in environmentally conscientious meetings and events. As a member of the Green Meeting Industry Council we have taken a code of conduct pledge to "support meetings and events that balance environmental, economic, and community goals by adopting practices that minimize environmental impacts in the areas of Air Quality, Energy Efficiency, Water Conservation, Waste Management, Environmental Purchasing through Rethinking, Reducing, Reusing and Recycling."*
We are able to sit down with our clients and tailor an event to fit their desired green level. At Mair Affair we have a resource of green suppliers, from green spas for the bride who wants an earth- friendly pampering experience for her bridal party, to eco-friendly promotional products for the organization who wishes to announce the next big concept. Our goal is to assist our clients in demonstrating their pledge to make a positive impact on the community and a reduced impact on the environment.
While our growing family of sustainable business suppliers and vendors allows us to address the needs of green events, we are lead by a trained and experienced trade show, meeting & event manager with an understating of multi-task operations. In addition, we also have an educational background in creative arts and green meetings, which allows us to successful implement your desired level of green and ensure a beautifully executed event experience.
