About Mair Affair

In an effort to reduce the harmful actions on our environment Mair Affair was created by Marion Carter, an experienced Trade Show & Events Manager.

Personal Message From Marion Carter, Owner:

The company was started because in reviewing my personal life I began to recognize a steady shift in my relationship with the environment.

I noticed that as I grew older I experienced an increase in environmental allergies and found it beneficial to use organic personal products or simply make my own. To reduce cost I began reusing and recycling when I had the opportunity.

Then one day I realized I was living somewhat of a green life.

My new practices began to creep into my professional world. As a Trade Shows & Events Manager, I began to plan meetings that utilized pitchers of water instead of plastic bottles, suggested event staff car pool to and from venues and I began to seek out venues that maintained and enforced a water conservation policy.

People often express happiness when they donate to charities or spend time with loved ones. I continued to green various aspects of my life, and realized that being environmentally mindful brought me happiness. By being environmentally conscientious, I was providing a helping hand in the effort to save our most valued asset, our planet. As a result, I also was living a healthier life style and saving money. I thought how could I make this complete, and realized I needed to completely bring green into my corporate world . . . and thus Mair Affair was born.

I am familiar with the policies and practices of the corporate arena and considerate of personal special occasions. I look forward to greening your next event.
